    On the current demo (2.0, RC3) when I created a non-priviledged user and logged in under that account. I noticed that there were passwords which, when I clicked on them, I was told something like “You are not allowed to see that item!”… but I was able to click on the “copy password to keyboard” and “copy username to keyboard” links and get the username and password out of them!

    I could have been doing something wrong when I set up the user and this may have been expected behavior, but it seems wrong to me. If a user is told they cannot see a password, they should not be able to obtain the username and password from it.

    The password in question is currently under “F_1″ and is called “Teste”. I notice in the admin view that the ‘quick info’ at the bottom indicates it is restricted to “admin;user1;”, but when I go to edit the item it says that it is not restricted at all. Perhaps there is some kind of bug there that allowed this behavior?

      Very strange … indeed, when a user is not allowed to see an item, the copy buttons should not be enabled.
      I’ve done several test in my local machine but didn’t manage to reproduce. I’ll investigate this more deeply directly on on the demo server.

        I know this may change before you read it as this is an open system but…

        Specifically, the test user was “sneider”, who is part of the role “Rollio”. The role seems to grant access to the passwords under “F_1″, but it is indicated on the “Teste” key itself that permissions are restricted to only admin and user_1*. So it seems like denying access to a key to users from the key itself will hide the summary and the ability to edit it, but if it is in a visible key group you can still see the key and obtain the username/password from it.

        *It is indicated in the summary view, but when you click on “edit” that does not appear to be the case as the boxes associated with those users are not checked.

    Hey,

    I am very interested in open source password management solutions. Would love to try the demo site, but I can’t switch to any other language than russian … ??
    If I change the language to lets say german or english, it still stays russian :-(

    After login as user “user” I can see only blank page.

    Page source is just : <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>

    I’m using Opera 11.62 browser.

    Hello,
    I’ve just been told about teamPass, and it seems better than many other password management solutions that are not open source.
    I can’t figure out how to disable maintenance mode, can you please tell me how to do that ?

    Demo site not working. I’d like what I see re TeamPass, but it worries me to put my faith into a system where the author can’t get a demo site to work.

    Right now it only works to login as manager. User and admin seems to be brokenin some way that after login it shows the blank page.

    when logged in as manager I could not create new password entries or folders.
    I am useing the latest Chrome browser.
